In order for you to develop these performance tools and apply them in tournaments, you need to practice them daily on your own.
Breath2Relax App
This is an excellent free app on your mobile phone recommended to my by Coach Dismuke at University of Houston. It provides you with step-by-step learning on how to breath correctly to calm your mind and body. These are the tools a player needs to execute under pressure.
I have provided instructions to make it very simple for you to execute!
Step 1, journal in your GPG notebook – On a scale of 1-10 how stressed are you right now? Be descriptive, the more you can write out the more you will get out of this exercise
Step 2, Open app, click “set up”
Under “Cycle Settings” set “inhale length” to 5, set “exhale length” to 4. According to research studies by FocusBand, this is the optimal time of breath lengths to relax the mind and body.
Set “number of cycles” to 16
Step 3, Go back to home screen, click “show me how”, watch demonstration video
Lie down, flat on your back, with a book on your belly
Goal is to calm your mind, focus solely on breathing.
Step 4, click “breathe”
Perform 16 cycles with headphones in
Step 5, finish with journaling in your GPG notebook
On a scale of 1-10 how stressed are you after completing the exercise?

This is normal. With practice your mind will not wonder as much.
